Every year the audience size grows as more and more people experience Day of Inspiration. The 2012 event was sold out for both the Sydney and Brisbane events. The event was co-founded in 2007 by Gary Bertwistle and Malcolm Heath. Gary being a keynote speaker thought of the idea during a training ride with his Tour de Cure partner Malcolm. Malcolm being an expert in the staging of premium conferences, through his company, Communique Australasia quickly decided over coffee that the event was a goer. Since then the event has continued to grow profile, not only amongst the attendees but also amongst the community within Australia.
Our speakers have included: Dr Charlie Teo, World Renowned Neurosurgeon, Layne Beachely, 7 time world champion surfer, Nigel Brennan, Australia's longest held hostage outside of war,Todd Coates, Managing Director, BridgeClimb, Kieren Perkins, Dual Olympic and Commonwealth Swimming Gold Medalist and many more.
