2009 Day of Inspiration - Secrets of Achievement
The 2009 Day of Inspiration ... Secrets of Achievement at the Four Seasons Hotel has certainly cemented itself on the corporate events calendar. Unquestionably one of the strongest line ups of the year, keynote speakers and entertainers spoke to a crowd of over 300 people on a day that was packed full of secrets of achievement.
From the minute the doors opened, the big crowd was inspired by stories from speakers like Michael Crossland, a brilliant young businessman and sportsman, who has defied cancer to build what can only be described as an incredible career. Following Michael on the stage was one of the most popular speakers of the day, Dr Adam Fraser.
A regular on Channel 9 as an expert in performance and productivity, Adam's quick wit, powerful tools and memorable out-takes certainly kept the day to a high standard. After morning tea, the audience heard from the passionate and lively Terry Hawkins, as well as international comedian and keynote speaker Marty Wilson and one of Australia's best selling business motivational authors, Justin Herald.
After lunch, a man who could only be described as amazing, the head of Opportunity International, social entrepreneur David Bussau, was interviewed by Channel 7's sports guy Mark Beretta. During David's captivating interview you could have heard a pin drop as people sat forward on their chairs, staggered at what this man had achieved for people around the world living in poverty through social entrepreneurialism and micro financing.
The day finished on a massive high with the king of Australian keynote speaking, Matt Church.
There was never a better time for Day of Inspiration to hit the corporate calendar than in September 2009, with all that was going on in the global economy. The feedback was extraordinary and the audience commented on the sheer amount of tips, tools, and inspirational anecdotes shared by this wonderful array of keynote speakers.
